Gimv portfolio company Techinfra GmbH, a critical infrastructure group, has succeeded in recruiting Roland Türk, an experienced industry manager, for the position of CEO. In addition to Rohrleitungsbau Münster and Keil & Purkl Tiefbau, new strategic partners are expected to further expand the group in the future.
Techinfra, established in 2023 by European investment company Gimv, specialises in the maintenance, development and expansion of critical infrastructure and positions itself as a fullservice provider for the development and preservation of sewage, pipeline and cable networks as well as for specialised underground engineering for all media across all dimensions. The industry is undergoing a period of transformation – challenges such as new innovative energy solutions, the modernisation of supply networks, skilled labour shortage, digitisation and ESG conformity, can be tackled by partner companies as a strong alliance, thereby realizing synergies. Furthermore, with a strong group of companies, more complex projects can be offered and managed from a single source. Techinfra aims to advancing its growth trajectory and remain a stable, long-term partner for its customers in the future.
As new Group CEO, Roland Türk is ready to roll up his sleeves. The experienced practitioner and trained civil engineer looks back on a remarkable 30-year career in the construction industry and critical infrastructure sector. This includes various roles in the fields of building construction, turnkey construction, and infrastructure. Additionally, as a long-time managing director and executive board member of the Geiger Group, he has extensive management and leadership experience as well as deep industry knowledge.
