Nordic Capital today announced that several promotions have been made following a successful year in 2022. These promotions further increase the capacity of Nordic Capital Advisor’s multi-faceted team and reinforce the Firm’s leading position within key sectors and regions.
Emil Anderson has been promoted to Partner. He joined Nordic Capital Advisors in 2010 and has since played a key role in the Firm’s development. A valued member of the investment team, Emil focuses on Technology & Payments and Financial Services and has also been active in advising on Healthcare investments. Over the years, Emil has shown a combination of great strategic analysis and management skills and has played an important role advising in some of Nordic Capital’s most notable transactions, including the record-breaking exit of The Binding Site in 2022. He is a role model in both leadership and culture and is a highly appreciated colleague.
Furthermore, Casper Lerche and Magnus Hammarström have each been promoted to Managing Director and Diana Tan has been promoted to Operations Managing Director. Casper focuses on Financial Services investments and Magnus is a member of the Industrial & Business Services team, focusing particularly on the Industrial Technology space. Diana leads the Operations Advisory team for Nordic Capital’s midmarket Evolution Fund.
In addition, five promotions to Investment Director, one promotion to Director, Capital Markets, and three to Investment Manager have been made across Nordic Capital Advisors.
2022 was a very strong year for Nordic Capital. It successfully closed its largest ever fund, Nordic Capital Fund XI, at its hard cap of EUR 9 billion which was one of the largest and fastest private equity funds raised in Europe during the year. It also completed eight platform investments and four full or partial exits.
“I would like to express my congratulations to all our promoted colleagues for their well-deserved advancements. All have made considerable contributions in their different roles and their promotions reflect both their personal achievements and the depth of their expertise. 2022 has been another landmark year for Nordic Capital, with a record fundraise, a high level of transaction activity and an intense focus on active ownership across Nordic Capital’s portfolio of market-leading businesses. The success of Nordic Capital is testament to the strength and commitment of our team and these promotions reflect the personal achievement of these highly deserving individuals. Alongside their talented colleagues, they put our organisation on great footing for the future” said Kristoffer Melinder, Managing Partner, Nordic Capital Advisors.
